So my birthday is precisely in 22hrs from now and i will be 23yrs old! fuck, that makes me feel old just saying that haha. man, time sure flies by quick tho that's for sure. How do i feel? damn.. honestly, i feel like i've been holding back and it's time to get things rolling. I'm over all the goin out, smoking, laziness, and all the other bullshit bad habits that i do.Time for a change. One that's for the better. Gotta step my game up and get my priorities straight.Usually people tend to adopt this mentality on new years and whatnot but fuck it, this feels right, right now and ain't no better time than right now. I know i promised i wouldnt get deep with y'all on this blog but right now, im chillen.. pullin an all nighter on a paper i have due tomorrow and its 3:00am in the morning. Tis a perfect time to reflect and get shit out cause its been on my mind for a minute now and aint nuthin better than taking the time to reflect on your life and make any positive changes that you need to. With that being said, i gotta get back to this paper. 'Ill try to keep these deep posts to a minimum. With that being said, Today is the youngest you will ever be for the rest of your life, so act like it. Till Next time fam!
behind the scenes kanye west complex cover
This cover came out a little while back but i barely just came across the video now. I thought the cover was creative and always wondered what the idea and concept behind it was. Its always interesting to know the backing behind every idea and what a person envisions especially from people who are known to always use their noggin, stay mentally fresh, and push their bounderies. I believe Kanye West is perfect example of that. anyways, cheggit out!
another visual piece of work.

Tilt Shift
looks cool.
Bathtub IV from Keith Loutit on Vimeo.
"Tilt-shift" actually encompasses two different types of movements: rotation of the lens relative to the image plane, called tilt, and movement of the lens parallel to the image plane, called shift. Tilt is used to control the orientation of the plane of focus (PoF), and hence the part of an image that appears sharp; it makes use of the Scheimpflug principle. Shift is used to change the line of sight while avoiding the convergence of parallel lines, as when photographing tall buildings.
In many cases, "tilt-shift photography" refers to the use of tilt and a large aperture to achieve a very shallow depth of field.
basically it makes objects and real people look small. Cool effect.

JADE
"Its my heart,cookie" EP
Dope artist/Dope chick. Her voice is like a breath of fresh air in this music business.Very angelic and pure. We need more artists like her coming out with real, natural, talent. Support good music. I'm out. Peace!
JADE promo from Mike Brown on Vimeo.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, a pastors daughter, Jade grew up in a non-traditional Puerto Rican household, “I wish I knew more Spanish and how to cook rice. Mom made Chinese food and blasted Gloria Gaynor.” Music is something that came very naturally to Jade early on, “especially in the shower…at the top of my lungs.” Soon, she began to sing in places outside the confines of her bathroom, and it wasn’t long after that, she began to write her own songs and create her own soundtrack. "It is the process of telling stories," which she says, "is one of the most amazing gifts anyone can have."
Following her musical ambitions, Jade attended the prestigious La Guardia High School for Performing Arts, majoring in vocals and graduating in 2003. Shortly thereafter, she was signed to a production company and was given the opportunity to flex her songwriting muscles. This was short lived as she was then signed to Pharrell's "Star Trak" label. Ultimately, Jade parted ways after a year, “I felt like a benchwarmer…No, I was a benchwarmer. I expected more from myself.”
Starting fresh, Jade is writing the songs she wants to write. Jade’s songs focus on the human condition. With each song she manages to tap into a different facet of herself to express multiple perspectives on love, growth, change, faith, and “everything else that makes us human. I like to focus on emotion: visceral and raw. That’s what life is about. But good music is good music, right? Right!?"
It’s safe to say Jade knows what she wants and she appears to be getting it: playing regularly all over the city to an exploding fan base at venues such as BB Kings, SOB’s, the Knitting Factory, Europa, Club Element, and city wide music events such as the Brooklyn Hip Hop festival and Howl festival, as well as having opened for notables Lupe Fiasco and Slick Rick. Along with her many shows, she has just wrapped up her EP entitled, "It's my heart, cookie." with production from J. Carmelli, Precize (GFCNY), and Inglish (The Cool Kids) and features Theophilus London.

Dos Equis has been running these funny ad campaigns lately similar in style to those Chuck Norris jokes. pretty funny shit. check these out. I wonder what would happen if this guy and Chuck Norris ended up in the same room...
"he's a lover not a fighter. But he's also a fighter, so don't get any ideas."
"his beard alone..has experienced more than a lesser mans entire body"
